Easy Gin Cocktails
10 Classic Gin Cocktail Recipes for Indian Bartenders
1) Martini
50 ml Gin + 10 ml Dry Vermouth + Olive/Lemon peel + Stir + Martini Glass.  A Martini with cocktail onion as garnish is called a Gibson. Click for more

Ingredients:
Gin – 30 ml
Vodka – 30 ml
Orange juice
Orange marmalade – 1 tsp
Fresh orange
Honey – ½ tsp
Lemon juice 10 ml
Method:
Muddle 3 orange chunks , honey and marmalade along with the spirits and fresh lime juice.
Shake well with ice in a cocktail shaker
Strain into old fashioned glass . Top up with orange juice.
Garnish:
Orange Slice and Mint Sprig

Ingredients:
Gin 45 ml
Sweet and sour mix  30 ml
Almond syrup  20 ml  
Fresh cucumber juice  30 ml
1 slice of cucumber
Method:
Shake the Gin, Sweet and sour mix (2:1 Sugar: Lemon juice)  , Almond syrup and cucumber juice with ice.
Double strain in a Flute
Garnish:
Cucumber slice


Indian Bartender Preetam Rai

Ingredients:
Gin 45 ml
Campari 15 ml
Orange juice 45 ml
Red Bull 90 ml
Tangerine/Orange  
Method:
In a cocktail glass filled with ice, add gin, Campari and orange juice
Shake the concoction vigorously till the frost appears on the sides of the cocktail shaker
Fine strain the concoction into a highball glass  filled with fresh ice
Top up with Red Bull
Garnish:
A slice of tangerine

Star Anise 5 nos
Cinnamon 2 sticks
Lime
Juice 10 ml
Sugar
Syrup 10ml
Passion Fruit
Cordial 10 ml
Limca
Ice
Method:
In a shaker glass take 2  pieces of Star Anise and a stick of Cinnamon. Muddle them together with lime Juice and sugar syrup
Add Gin and shake it with Ice
Double strain it into a highball glass.
Add
Passion Fruit Cordial & top up with Limca
Garnish:
A stick of Cinnamon and 2 pieces of Star Anise

French 75

Ingredients:
Gin 30 ml
Fresh lime juice 10 ml
Sugar syrup 5 ml
Maraschino cherry  3 nos
Orange rind
Top up with Champagne
Method:
Pour gin, fresh lime juice and sugar syrup into a shaker.
Fill it up with ice and  shake it well
Strain it in a chilled champagne flute and top up with Champagne
Garnish:
Orange rind & Maraschino cherry

Star Anise Martini

Ingredients:
Whole Star Anise 5-6 pieces
Sugar Syrup  10 ml
Lime Juice  10 ml
Peach syrup  20 ml
Gin   60 ml
Ice
Method:
Muddle whole star anise, sugar syrup & lime juice together in a shaker
Add ice, peach syrup & Gin 
Shake it well and strain in a Martini glass 
Garnish:
