Who is this course for?
This course is for the beginner who wants to start drinking wines & also for the wine lover who wants to get some structure in appreciating wines.
What is covered in the course?
We cover the very basics of the following to initiate you in wines. Wine classification, components of a wine, important grape varieties, food and wine, buying wines, storing wine, wine temperatures.
What is the objective of the course?
The objective is make a beginner or a novice wine drinker confident to buy and drink wine.
Is this a live course and can questions be asked?
Yes it is not a recorded video. Questions will be answered in the forum. We go live 1 hour each on Saturday and Sunday.
Will there be any tasting?
Unfortunately there will be no tasting. However if you would like to further you knowledge on wines, we run the Wine 101 a full day wine course replete with tastings of wines and wine and food pairing. We will announce one soon after the lockdown.
Can the Know Your Wine be done for corporates or private groups?
Yes, we can conduct one for minimum of 25 people. We have done it for groups spanning the USA, UK etc. It works well for employee and client engagement for corporate, school or college reunions etc. It brings in the fun angle to corporate meets.
